“Often the hands know how to solve a riddle with which the intellect has wrestled in vain” C.G. Jung

Andrea provided arts-based and art therapy workshops to a wide range of sectors including health, education and for public and private sector organizations.

Workshops are specifically designed to meet the needs of the group. They can take place on a one-off basis or as part of a series dealing with an identified theme. Workshops can be developed to suit a variety of group sizes.

Workshops using art therapy techniques, while not being therapy, can provide the participant with a therapeutic outcome.

Examples of arts-based programmes

  • Parenting - The Creative Balance is a 6 weeks long parenting programme that provides an alternative learning environment for parents addressing relevant parenting issues using creative methodologies
  • Create a Cartoon Strip is a creative workshop developed as part of the Drug Awareness programme. It is a child-centred initiative that invites children to draw and write about drug-related questions in a safe and playful manner thus increasing their awareness and resiliency.
